The goal of this project is to create a novel “Semantic Deep Mining” method to analyze the electronic health records (EHRs) of real patients.

Methods

• To create an ontology-based semantic system to combine rule/knowledge embedding and deep learning that better analyze EHRs.
• To learn embeddings of medical concepts from standardized ontologies created by the World Health Organization (WHO).
